I was frantically searching for hot water bottle, and there it is, number 56. The hot water bottles L and I have received from my parents the last few years are probably the most-used Xmas gifts we’ve received in our adult lives! Lap blankets are great too.
Great list of gift ideas. I a little short on cash this year, so this list will come in handy.
Way Fun List!
Thanks, I needed some new ideas for this year!
Yes, hot water bottles are great! Last year I gave someone a hot water bottle cover that I knitted (I knew they already had a bottle). I used this pattern: http://www.yarnagogo.com/bawk_hot_water_bottle_coz/
Many of your ideas are really good. #21 - magazine subscription. I like giving magazine subscriptions because they keep coming throughout the year. Also, it’s good when I don’t know much about the person’s hobby so I can’t buy them equipment for it (hunting or cooking or crochet or video games or whatever).
Now I’m left wondering where I can get a glow-in-the-dark rubber duck.
I got one last year for Christmas, they can be found here: pool and spa rubber duck

Along with notecards (item 2), how about a packet of postage stamps instead of a pen? Most people have pens around the house, but they may not have enough stamps.
Many of these items would also make great housewarming gifts!I will have to save this list for future reference.
BTW the glow-in-the-dark duck made me laugh!
Great list!
I’ve used many of these ideas in the past and I’ll use more in the future.
Great list, I’ve created a similar list of 101 Christmas Gifts specifically for Men (and for the less frugal!)
It took me aggggggggggeeeesss to put together so please have a look and tell me what you think?
