Normally I’d be moaning that American football is a shoulder-padded game for girls, but firstly England were beaten in the opening weekend of the Six Nations :( , and secondly, paidtwice has done an excellent superbowl themed carnival of personal finance. My favourite description is that it includes the worst aspects of American culture - violence and board meetings :)

    And I’m of course compelled to point out that England didn’t lose, they threw the game away (literally, in the case of Saint Johnny!)

    Ooh, I watched the England game online and have to say I agree with Guinness. I also agree with your thoughts on American football, but the carnival was fun.

    @guinness416 and Looby:
    I may have to make a unilateral decision and withdraw English citizenship from them. Against the Welsh of all people.

    That’s funny, I just told someone in the office here that the Irish team should have their passports confiscated. Don’t worry, you’ll beat us.

    Good links by the way, I like baby carnival roundups more than the big ones these days.
