I have to say, although I am on facebook, I don’t use it much.
My feeling is that if I haven’t kept in contact with you since high school, there’s a reason for it.
Still, while I have a private profile which I rarely use due to privacy concerns, it might be nice to create one for my blog and fan Coke or something…
Ah Facebook, MySpace, Digg, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us etc. So many social sites. I’m sure they all boast huge numbers of members, but I suspect most are like me.
I joined MySpace to I could follow a band’s blog (they disbanded soon after I signed up), I joined Digg so I could highlight interesting content, and I joined SU for the same reason.
SU actually has a nifty interface so I’ve continued to use it. And delicious is useful for storing my bookmarks, so it still receives my traffic. But the other social accounts lay dormant for the most part.
